THE PERSON BEHIND THE NOTES
Hi, I’m Jasper.
My journey in workforce management has taken me through roles as a Project Manager, Solution Architect and Solution Consultant. Each has given me a different perspective on the same challenge: making systems work for the people who use them every day.
Across those roles, I’ve developed a practical understanding of how timekeeping, scheduling and forecasting fit together, and where implementations can run into trouble. Requirements, system design, delivery and day-to-day operations all need to connect.
I’ve seen why a sound idea on paper can become difficult to implement. A time and motion study, for example, may measure the work well but organise it in a way the forecasting system cannot readily use. Spotting those gaps early matters: they can mean rework, extra cost and a harder transition for the client.
This is my open notebook on those lessons: practical observations, interactive experiments and honest conversations about what makes workforce management work.

THE EXPERIENCE BEHIND MY PERSPECTIVE
Three roles. A broader view of the work.
Project Manager
The delivery perspective: scope, dependencies, risk and the people making decisions. It taught me to look beyond a go-live date and consider what a change means for the business and its teams.
Solution Architect
The system perspective: how business structures, data and processes fit together. It reinforced the need to check that an operating model can actually be supported by the system before committing to a design.
Solution Consultant
The practical perspective: turning requirements into configuration and working through real scenarios. It keeps me close to the exceptions, workarounds and everyday tasks that determine whether a solution is useful.
